Rebecca and William couldn't have asked for a better day - gorgeous weather, a picturesque red barn to get married outside of, friends and family gathered for a momentous occasion, and a commitment to life as husband and wife.
Though they are off honeymooning in Mexico, I wanted to post a few pictures of their most special day. Enjoy a few of the moments captured. I think many who were there would agree that the emotion showed when Wil saw his bride coming down the aisle with her dad was a touching and moving thing to witness.
Congrats Becca and Wil, and thanks for letting us capture your love!

Ariel and Josh:: Philadelphia, PA Wedding
I had the opportunity to second shoot a beautiful wedding for Rae Barnes. I've known 'of' Rae for a few years now, after a friend mentioned her as a photographer I might like to follow, but hadn't met her until I knew she was looking for an assistant. Rae's work 'pops'; it has this distinct boldness that I've come to love. When Rae and I met, she mentioned this would be her last wedding for awhile, so I was glad to be there for her last wedding.
Here are a few of the images I took for Rae on Ariel and Josh's wedding day.
Ariel and Josh got ready at the Omni Hotel in Philadelphia.
I love the fall flowers; the day was gorgeous too!
Woohoo! Look at those heels! I give Ariel a lot of credit for being able to wear those!
They took many of their pictures across the street, next to the Second Bank of the US.
With the leaves falling, it was a gorgeous backdrop for pictures.
Ariel and Josh were so playful with each other; their affection was a joy to watch!
I think it's safe to say Josh was a happy husband!
Their ceremony and reception were held at the Ballroom at the Ben...such a gorgeous venue.

Showers of Love
A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to go to a bridal shower for Brittany. She and her fiance - Bradley (most people call him Meek) - are getting married in July. And while at the shower, I - of course - had to take soooome pictures. Brittany has one of the kindest hearts. I remember first meeting her (she was close with a mutual friend of ours) and wishing I could call her my friend. She is passionate about many things, and really cares deeply for her friends. She also has an incredible fashion sense, and it's often the topic of many jokes (in regards to matching vs. non-matching). And if there's one thing she can't do without, it's tie dye shirts. Not really. She can't stand the fact that all these random (usually unmatched) colors are all splattered on a shirt...and that people actually wear them!
But I am thankful to now be able to call her friend and excited for their wedding in July.
Here are a few pics of the shower...

Wedding: Mr. and Mrs. Meck - sneak peek
I am so excited to get through all the images of the wedding I had the honor to photograph this past weekend. Jen and Derek are two very special people, and their wedding was the kickoff to my 2012 wedding season.
I met Jen and Derek at my former job and they both have hearts of gold. They are dedicated to many things: the Lord, their families, their education, their work, friends, being good athletes, serving others, and being gracious. There were many times where just being in their presence made you feel encouraged to call them friends.
Jen and Derek, thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your special day. It was fun to know some members of your families, to know (or know about) the members of your bridal parties, and to witness your beautiful marriage.
Hope you're enjoying your honeymoon in TN. Enjoy a much-deserved rest/break!!
